Okay, so that last HOOT from this morning (featured below) was an 'April 1st Special Edition' but sadly kind of believable.
Here's our real latest HOOT. Much like the rest of the world, we turned our focus to Japan and had a look at how the creative world is contributing to the relief effort.

PEOPLE FROM COSSETTE AND BCLC WINS GLOBAL REBRAND AWARD
Tasked with creating a new strategic and creative platform for BC Lottery, we've repositioned the corporation as a player centric organization offering trusted gambling entertainment. Based on a new brand essence of 'Fair Play', the creative platform balances fun and modernity, with the stability and trust of a Crown Corporation.
A multitude of applications now bring the new brand to life: from graphic standards to space branding of the new Vancouver office, a brand movie to the strategic and creative platforms for GameSense and CSR. Our work for BCLC just won Best of Awards at the Rebrand™ awards. The responsible gambling brand GameSense was also recognized in the awards. For us this is simply recognition of a great agency/client partnership.

It is with great pride that we can announce some hot off the press award wins so early in the year.
Firstly, we entered 6 projects in the REBRAND™ awards (the world's leading resource focused on effective transformations), and our work for BCLC won Best of Awards and all the others (Mr. Swirl, Mill Woods Town Centre, Province of Alberta, GameSense and HDI) were recognized from Distinction through to Notable.

A BIG NIGHT AT THE ADCC AWARDS AND THE LOTUS AWARDS
For more than half a century, the Advertising and Design Club of Canada (ADCC) has been encouraging and promoting excellence in Canadian advertising, design and interactive media. Last week at the ADCC 61st annual awards show in Toronto, The People from Cossette West came away with 22 awards, including four Golds and five Silvers.

The new Quarter Pounder Deluxe has officially launched at McDonald's! It's summer time! This year we had our White Party aboard the "Cossette Summer Cruise" that docked at the pier on Homer and Helmcken. Everyone arrived sporting their first-class cruise wear.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES (RMHC)
CHALLENGE
Tell parents of seriously ill children that RMH is a home close to the Children's Hospital in Winnipeg which allows families to stay together while they are undergoing treatments.
INSIGHT
The Ronald McDonald House provides what a sick child needs the most, their family.
RESULTS
The RMH Winnipeg is now operating at maximum capacity most nights.

We are excited to announce that the McDonald's restaurant finder iPhone app is now available for download in the app store!
Find the McDonald's restaurants nearest to where you are - or where you're going to be - including all those open 24 hours and have geo-targeted promotions and offers delivered to your iPhone.
Features:
- Detects your current location automatically
- Search for a restaurant by location or postal code
- Receive current promotions for restaurants based on location
- Displays which restaurants are open 24 hours
- Displays restaurant and drive-thru hours, along with addresses and
phone numbers
The app is launching in conjunction with an "Open 24hrs" campaign with support from radio, print, OOH, and banners and mobile ads pointing to a mobile optimized landing page (try it on your phone!) with restaurant finder.
